Using Lego intelligent bricks and their interests and curiosity, students learn pseudo-coding, coding, robotics and engineering principles. Using the 4 C's (Connect, Construct, Contemplate, and Continue) building 21st Century skills for your children. All Lego pieces and software will be provided.

There are a variety of lessons and activities to help meet the needs of all learners and their learning styles. Small class size provides a comfortable setting for practicing the elements of literacy and the process of becoming a stronger reader and writer. Activities include reading fiction and non-fiction, applying comprehension and vocabulary strategies, critical thinking in discussions and written responses, writing in different genres, language use, sentence development, spelling, mechanics and handwriting.

Students will participate in all steps of a recipe and then enjoy a tasty meal. Students will bring home a cookbook at the end of the semester. Taught by certified culinary chefs. This class will be a condensed version of a full kindergarten day. Students will practice phonics to aid in reading, spelling, review sight words, writing and math curriculum in a relaxed environment. This is an excellent opportunity for your child to receive extra help in core subject areas, as well as reinforce the curriculum taught in class. All materials will be provided.

Forms: Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop. Students will start with a fun and energizing warm up, learning basic floor stretching exercises to increase flexibility and posture, learn exciting combinations across the floor and end with a fun dance routine. This class is for students who are new to Mandarin or have had some exposure in the past. The lessons will expose students to many aspects of the Chinese Language: sound, shape, cultural context. Instruction will be theme-based and highly communicative. Taught by a Mandarin teacher.

Grade 2 Math Review is aligned to NYS Standards and supports and extends the work in the classroom. All the activities are hands on and minds on. Students refine base ten understanding, write and rename numbers, add and subtract facts and multi-digit numbers, tell time, identify coins and value, discover fractions, make predictions about data, use estimation and measurement, and explore geometry and multiplication.

Group piano classes are an excellent introduction to beginner piano and basic musical concepts. Through singing and playing, students will learn music at a comfortable pace. Activities include learning musical alphabet, playing games and exercises, learning basic music theory and reading music. Students will explore solo elementary pieces as well as piano duets. Keyboard and sheet music will be provided.

Traditional Japanese paper folding has evolved into a modern art form. The goal of this art is to transform a flat sheet of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques. Students will learn about the basics and more of this beautiful art form. Students will bring home a different project every week. All materials provided.

Students will be introduced to working with clay and create projects that will go home every two weeks. Please sign up for only one session of sculpting w/clay per week.

Students will learn the basics of the language as they participate in both translated and original Spanish children's songs, books, vocabulary-boosting flash cards and cultural projects. All workbooks & learning materials will be provided.

An introduction to the violin instrument and its history. Students will learn how to play beginner violin repertoire and how to play together as a string orchestra. Violins and sheet music will be provided. The instructor will conduct individual assessments throughout the class. Open to all levels from beginners to intermediate students. A fun and interactive way to experience the world of art, color, and texture. Students will explore their artistic talent using an array of materials and techniques. Students will create arts & crafts projects that will be brought home every 1 - 2 weeks.

Students will work on a variety of creative art projects, ranging from arts & crafts to fine arts. Students will use acrylic and water paints, wood, collages, drawing, crayon resets using various mediums. Classes taught by professional artists.

A contemporary form of jazz with a sharp, street-smart edge that will add another dimension to the students' level of performance. This high energy class will focus on musicality and style as well as the history and culture of hip hop dance. Proper attire required. Class taught by a professional dancer.

In a supervised environment, students can choose to play the latest games on Nintendo 3DS, Wii, Wii U consoles or apply their building skills using Lego and Duplo bricks and other playsets. This class will also participate in outdoor play weather permitting.

If your child loves to sing, this is the class for them! This class will help develop their vocal instrument: breathing, pitch, diction and placement of the voice. Technique exercises, breath control, and singing Broadway, T.V., Classical and Pop tunes. This class is for all levels for students in Grades 3-5.

LEGO Technical Unleash your child's creativity and be amazed as they develop a solid understanding of mechanical principles and real-life applications.

Students will learn the fundamentals of soccer, including dribbling, shooting, passing, and receiving. Comfortable clothing, sneakers and shatter-proof glasses are required.

Tap dance is a style of dance in which a dancer wearing shoes fitted with heel and toe taps sounds out audible beats by rhythmically striking the floor or any other hard surface. Basic tap dance moves include Shuffle. Have fun while you learn how to tap dance! For Beginner to Intermediate Levels. Tap shoes required for class. Must purchase separately.
